i remember being made to sing this song at the top of my lungs at a pre-departure orientation about 9 years ago. of course, at the time i, all i could think of was how pointless this activity was. but i was listening to it again today, and i realized; it was about the "feel" (alah...like the AF juries always point out..'must have feel!!'). So today, since i can't sing it too loud, i'll hum it:
"There's a hero
If you look inside your heart
You don't have to be afraid of what you are
There's an answer
If you reach into your soul
And the sorrow that you know will melt away
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And you'll finally see the truth
That a hero lies in you..."
100% feel!!
